Just put together my pancake bot. Two comments. There seems to be no suction, or pressure from the air pump, either on 1, or 10. When I try and print a design, it just slowly drips, exactly the same if I didn't have the hose in at all. Are you supposed to be able to hear the pump? Also, is it possible I received a used unit? While most of the unit seemed new, the gantry section had what looked like dried pancake batter on it, and the ribbon cable had a whole section of residue where I assume a piece of velcro was supposed to be. I took pictures of both. Griddle works great though, We used the bottle and the hose and held it in our hands and used our breath to hand make some pancakes - while fun, I would like to fix it. I'm comfortable opening it up (I have built many 3d printers), but assume I will void the warranty if I do.

Slim When the machine is on you should hear the pump (light buzzing sound) where the hose connects to the gantry. If you here the pump do a test print with no dispenser bottle and holding the end of the hose (where it is supposed to connect to the dispenser bottle). lightly tap the end to see if there is suction/pressure.
If you heare the pump and there is no suction you could check the mini valves. Here is the video below.

You should not have received a used unit. If you still have issues with the pump please send an email to support@storebound.com.
